A healthy, confident smile is important to your health and well-being. By helping you take care of problems and pain now, we can help you avoid more serious and expensive issues down the road.

2 – Review of x-rays and examination

After reviewing your x-rays, your dentist will discuss your dental and medical history and the reason for your visit. The dentist will then perform a thorough oral exam and suggest a comprehensive treatment plan that’s best for you. This is important, because seeing the full picture helps you make the best decisions about your care.

3 – Recommended treatment plan

You’ll hear the term “comprehensive care” often at Half Dental. It means that the doctors do more than just fix the immediate problem. They examine your entire mouth, recommend treatment options for long-lasting oral health, and work with you to pick which treatments suit you best.

Tip: ADA Research shows a link between dental health and overall health.

4 – Consultation with office manager

Our goal is to provide you with comprehensive oral care – that means taking care of immediate problems and preventing small issues from getting bigger and more expensive. If left untreated some conditions may have serious consequences for your overall health, including heart disease, stroke and diabetes. After the doctor completes your exam, our office manager will meet with you to answer any questions, discuss payment options, and work with you on the best treatment plan for your needs.

5 – Schedule your next appointment

New patients often ask if they can have their teeth cleaned during their first visit. Your actual treatment usually begins with a follow-up visit, often scheduled as soon as the next day. We need to see you first for a comprehensive exam and then schedule adequate time with your hygienist.

6 – We love to answer questions

After your first visit, you’ll take our complete evaluation with you, along with the cost of your treatment, and the date for your follow-up appointment. If you have any questions during your visit, or if there is anything you don’t understand, members of the Half Dental team are happy to help.Your doctor and the rest of the Half Dental team look forward to helping you find your smile.
